Southern Barossa Valley

Workshop

Once the Chenin Blanc vineyard, renamed after Michael Schild built a workshop nearby.

Wider Schild Story

This place is connected to a wider Schild surname story in Barossa Valley wine history, not a confirmed part of our direct family line.

This site was purchased by the family in 1993 and was originally known as the Chenin Blanc vineyard, named for the grape variety grown there. In 1999, Michael Schild built a new workshop just down the road, and the vineyard became known afterward simply as Workshop.
