Rowland Flat, Barossa Valley

Three Springs

Home to the original Schild family homestead.

Wider Schild Story

This place is connected to a wider Schild surname story in Barossa Valley wine history, not a confirmed part of our direct family line.

The original Schild family homestead is located at Three Springs, on historic Narrow Road at Rowland Flat, about 380 metres above sea level. Its higher, cooler position has traditionally meant lower yields than vineyards on the valley floor, but it remains the site most closely tied to family and home rather than simply to production.
